To log into this site, you need your student id found on student id cards, or your social security number can be substituted for it, and your pin is your 6 digit birthday. For example, December 4, 1986 would be 120486. Once you log in and enter your emergency contact info, you want to select the third link, email and network accounts. Your network account and password is what will get you into the online class website. Your default password is abcd followed by the last five digits of your student id number, which can be located on your student id cards.

A.1. Course Description:

This course will cover how web technology has significantly changed our business world. Included are design tools, software, and hardware and how they are incorporated in network systems. Knowledge of how to manage a network from a business point of view is an important decision-making strategy. Basic foundations of network security, integrity, reliability, encryption, decryption, internet protocols, and servers will be discussed. Discussion of Operating Systems like Windows (XP Vista,.Net), Linux, Mac and Web Servers such as IIS and Apache Servers will also be discussed.

A.2. Intended Audience:    MIS majors and everyone else.

A.3. Course Objectives:

This course will cover the basics of Web System, and the development of network and management in current business field. This course is designed to provide hands on experiences to the students on the current web technologies. This course will also introduce contemporary notions of network and evaluate existing business strategies, which are using for accomplishing success in web technology businesses. The objective of this course is for students to understand different Web technologies and systems. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to design web-site using marketing and commercial principles.
