BU4045 TOPICS IN MIS

A)     Welcome to Topics in MIS.  I am Dr. Ebrahimi your Instructor.   You can visit me on the web at WWW.DREBRAHIMI.COM

There is a direct link from my site to the class site.   You can access it directly by typing in the following URL

            http://www.drebrahimi.com/2007Spring/BU4045

By default 15 % of your grade will be participation and class contribution. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let Dr. Ebrahimi know and he will adjust the grading percentage to put more emphasis on exams and projects.

One of the evaluations of your project will be based on the currency of your page.  This is not the most important

        B)     Bill Parris and Preety Pandey are class captains.

        C)   1)  At the beginning of each class, open FrontPage on your     computers so you can keep a journal of your learning.  Include information you have learned from the Instructor, Text, Classmates and yourself.

2)Your journals should include information you learned in class.  Save your journal files using the following naming convention.

All of your journals should be saved using the following template dateTMYourInitials.html (Entirely in lowercase)

So for today's journal (January 25th 2007) Dr Ebrahimi would save his journal as 012507tmae.html

3)  Your  should have a website for this course.   In your site you should breakup your course work for easy access.   The pages that should be on your site are Home, Syllabus, Journals, Projects, Exam, Research and Gallery.

 4) You can signup for a free website through Yahoo/Geocities.com.   To view a tutorial on signing up for a geocities web page click here.

5)  Copy the page from http://www.drebrahimi.com/2007winter/ seven times and upload all of them to your Geocities homepage.  Clean up the page and rename each of the pages according to below.

What should each of these pages have on them?
