What is our class project?

If you want to earn more than a C++ in this class start the project early.

Mission of the class project:   This project should be easy to use and learn.   You should compare yours to other tutorials out there and explain why yours is better.  

The class project is to build, design and implement  a Web Based Tutorial System using C++ that can be sold.

In this class we will focus on a Web Based Tutorial System using C++.

We will be building this system on the web to learn E-commerce website design as well as C++ and object oriented programming.

This project should be promoted and marketed.

 

The mission of this web system should be to promote the learning of programming to beginners.

You can choose any topic you like, however we recommend building the tutorial about C++ using Dr. Ebrahimi's book as the content template.

 

The project will be evaluated on whether or not your tutorial has all of the following qualities. We call them the seven C's

                1. Content-  There is volume  to the site.

                2. Correctness- The context and data on the site is right.

                3. Currency - The website is up to date.

                4. Completeness- There are no broken links.

                5. Compelling- The site is pretty.

                6. Consistency- Everything is in order and has a common structure.

                7. Customization & Community- The website serves the client.

The e commerce part of the class involves finding a sponsor for your tutorial.
