Midterm:

Q1. We analyzed several search engines in class. Using the 7C layers write a one page explanation of the crucial problems that you have found in the search engine.(20 pts)

Please write a page which can be understood by your classmates.

Q2. Pick a search program from the text book.(20 pts)

(a) Run it as it is (input/output)

(b) Change it and related to your project search engine such as:

• If you type "if"  as an input, it will display any file which is related to "if". example:- if.htm or chapter4.htm.

• If you type "loop" it will give you loop.htm or chapter3.htm.(preferred in C++.)

Q3. Incorporate the layer of appearance with the 7x2C's in relation to your project. i.e. Look at the content and see if it makes sense. (20 pts.)

Q4:-Identification as it relates to your project: what is mission reason, history, goals, values, and vision ? By 7 W's(20 pts.)

Identification (Who is who)

Remember 7 W's:

Who, What, When, Where, Why, Which, and last one is wow. (It's "how" backward)

Who-  A sort of history, mission, vision, expectations, values and goals of the company.

Q5:-HTML layer: 10 Commands in the text book you have used:- identify ten commands are better, but three of them can be replaced by other tags. Replicate it in notepad, FrontPage, or in geocities.
