Class Captain:  Theresa Watkins

Topic of the Day:  Read article from Price Waterhouse - See Dr. Ebrahimi's website www.computerhumanerror.org -  - The Use of Spreadsheets: Considerations for Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, PricewaterhouseCoopers .  (New legislation regulating auditing laws.)  The article is quite lengthy and you should speak with the Professor to determine which parts are most relevant to the class material.  Article will be relevant to your midterm exam. 

Take the index from Dr. Ebrahimi's website and change according to the 7 C's.  You can change as you see fit and rename as your index.  You will receive extra credit for improvements. 

A former student of Dr. Ebrahimi, Scott Bell, works at Price Waterhouse.  He was an MIS major but now audits technology - a very simple, highly paid position that requires very little technological knowledge, but is becoming more and more required.  Dr. Ebrahimi will invite him to come and speak with the class.  The professor suggests that anyone interested in this type of employment take a look at Price Waterhouse.  You can check the Price Waterhouse website to contact Mr. Bell is you'd like additional information.  Mention Dr. Ebrahimi's name!
