Websites are important means of communications today, for colleges and universities. There are errors that are hidden and are very critical. This replaces the older days of using catalogues and telephone calls.
This study examines all 20 colleges and universities that have campuses on Long Island. The study focuses on categorized errors on 7 layers such as appearances, search evaluation, security and privacy. Data has been collected and analyzed with a report. This study concludes that many websites are not tested for inaccuracies that need to be given attention. We recommend that there should be some sort of standard testing done based on the identified 7 layers.
